Halloween

Our annual Halloween party was full of fun, family, friends, and great food.  My favorite part is when everyone shows up and we get to see what they are dressed-up in.  There is always a good laugh.  I will let the pictures do the talking.

Isn't  this one adorable flower?

Vivian couldn't be any sweeter with those glasses.

The whole gang!!! (Minus the Munns Family, Jay, Amy, and Tesla)

The kiddos painting pumkins.

The famous gunny sack races.

The girls enjoying the celebration.

Bobbing for apples.

The guys had to get in on the fun.  We particular love when everyone starts chanting the persons name that we want to see bob for an apple.

The eyeball pinata'  got smacked around.

Layla even wanted to do it.  She was so proud of herself.

The scrabble for the candy.

Award ceremony for costumes.  Andy hosts this and does a fabulous job.

Layla was soooo excited to get some recognition but soon got embarrassed and shy. Loved this moment.

Adorable Dorothy and her dad the chef.

Halloween night right before trick or treating.  Can you see the excitement?

Layla was quite the trooper and walked from house to house right behind her dad and sister.

The night was beautiful and couldn't of been any better for trick or treating.

Waiting for the candy.

Looking over the goods.  And dad taking the candy tax for taking them from house to house.

What a great halloween!!! We loved every moment.

10th Anniversary=Kauai

For our 10th wedding anniversary we planned a trip to Kauai with our good friends Cole and Kristyn.  Our trip didn't start off as well as we would of hoped.  Let me just say that there was a lot of waiting in airports for delayed flights.  Here is Andy waiting patiently in the Boise airport.

We finally got out of the airport and landed a day late in Kauai.  We immediately hit the beach.  Andy and Cole testing out the boogie board equipment.

We went to the local farmers market for fresh produce.  The fruit, avocados and flowers were amazing.

Heading to the Na'Pali Coast.

Check out that hot guy I'm married to.

Cole and Kristyn enjoying there 10 year wedding anniversary on the beach.

We too had to join in on the fun.

Here is to another 10 years!!!

One last look at this beautiful beach.  In the dead of winter I think I will look at this often.

We went on a 12 mile trek in the Hanalei jungle to try to find a more remote waterfall.  Along the way we came to this beach, with stacks of rocks around the perimeter.  It was absolutely beautiful.  I couldn't help but think of my sister in-law Amy, who did a similar art installation in McCall for trail markers.

Along the edge of jungle.

Yes, that is what we were hiking in.

Notice we don't have any pictures of the majestic waterfall.  After hiking to the foot of the waterfall we couldn't find the trail and after bush whacking in the jungle for some time we had to turn back so we wouldn't run out of day light.  To say the least we were a little disappointed but enjoyed the scenery along the way.

Resting our feet in the cold river water.

Cole making friends with the locals.

At the out look of Waimea Canyon

Andy and Cole having a heart to heart moment.

Andy would be better at writing the captions on these series of pictures then myself. He would definitely add some funny, witty, comment.  I will just let the pictures do the talking.

Kayaking up a river (name?), hiking into another waterfall and rope swinging were our next adventures.  Here we are getting ready to get on the river.

We made it to this waterfall.

Here the guys are flexing if you couldn't tell.  Yes, you guys have some muscles.

Since I started with a photo of Andy at the beginning of the trip I thought that it would only be appropriate to end with him.  Love this guy!!!  Happy 10th Anniversary babe!!  Thanks for the amazing adventure.
